Instructions
1. Sauté Veggies
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high.
Add onion and bell pepper; cook until soft and lightly caramelized.
2. Brown the Beef
Push veggies to one side.
Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks.
3. Make the Sauce
Mix beef with veggies.
Stir in broth, tomato sauce, Worcestershire, ketchup, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Simmer on medium-low for 10 minutes until thickened.
4. Melt the Cheese
Place a slice of provolone over each portion of beef in the pan.
Cover and let cheese melt.
5. Toast & Assemble
Toast buns lightly.
Scoop cheesy beef mixture onto each bun.
6. Serve & Enjoy
Serve hot with fries, salad, or chips.
