Banana Pudding with Caramel Sauce

Instructions:
1. Prepare the Pudding
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, whisk together:

Milk

Heavy cream

Sugar

Cornstarch

Egg yolks

Cook, stirring constantly, for about 5–7 minutes, or until the mixture thickens to a pudding-like consistency.
Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.

2. Layer the Dessert
In a serving dish (or individual cups), begin with a layer of pudding, then add a layer of sliced bananas.
Repeat the layers until all the pudding and bananas are used.

3. Add the Topping
Drizzle caramel sauce over the top.
Sprinkle a pinch of salt to balance the sweetness and enhance the flavors.

4. Chill and Serve
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the pudding to fully set and chill.
Serve cold and enjoy!

Optional Tips:
Add crushed vanilla wafers or shortbread cookies between layers for extra texture.

For extra flavor, use salted caramel sauce instead of plain caramel.

Garnish with whipped cream or a dusting of cinnamon before serving.
