Avocado Mousse with Christmas Smoked Salmon

Ingredients
For the Avocado Mousse:
2 ripe avocados
2 tbsp cream cheese or Greek yogurt
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and black pepper, to taste
For the Smoked Salmon Topping:
6 oz (170 g) smoked salmon slices
1 tbsp capers (optional)
1 tbsp red onion, very finely chopped
For Garnish:
Fresh dill or chives
Lemon zest
Optional: pomegranate seeds for a festive touch
For Serving:
Toasted baguette slices, crackers, or cucumber rounds
