Jamaican Jerk Pork with Plantains

Ingredients
For the Jerk Pork
1½ lb pork shoulder or pork loin, cut into bite-size pieces
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp Jamaican jerk seasoning
1 tsp ground allspice
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp lime juice
Salt and black pepper, to taste
For the Plantains
2 ripe plantains, sliced
2 tbsp vegetable oil or butter
Salt, to taste
Optional Garnish
Fresh cilantro or green onions
