For the seafood:
400 g (14 oz) salmon fillet, cut into 1-inch cubes
300 g (10.5 oz) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp olive oil (30 ml)
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp cayenne pepper
½ tsp dried thyme
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper

For the garlic butter:
3 tbsp unsalted butter (45 g)
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp lemon juice (15 ml)
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
For the polenta rounds:
120 g (1 cup) polenta
480 ml (2 cups) water or chicken/vegetable broth
1 tbsp butter (15 g)
50 g (½ cup) grated Parmesan
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
