Red Beans & Rice, Chicken Wings, and Cornbread

Ingredients:
For the Red Beans & Rice:
1 pound dried red beans (or 2 cans, drained and rinsed)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 onion, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
2 celery stalks, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 bay leaf
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
4 cups chicken broth
2 cups cooked white rice
Salt and black pepper to taste
For the Chicken Wings:
12 chicken wings, separated into drumettes and flats
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for spice)
For the Cornbread:
1 cup cornmeal
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
2 large eggs
1/4 cup melted butter
1/4 cup sour cream or buttermilk
