Parmesan Meatloaf

Instructions
1. Preheat and Prepare the Pan
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a loaf pan and place it on a foil-lined baking sheet for easier cleanup.

2. Mix the Meatloaf
In a large mixing bowl, gently combine:

Ground beef and turkey

Eggs

Breadcrumbs

Basil, thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper

Minced garlic and chopped onion

Parmesan cheese

Tip: Avoid overmixing to keep the meatloaf tender rather than dense.

3. Shape and Add Sauce
Transfer the meat mixture into the prepared loaf pan, pressing it in gently. Spread the marinara sauce evenly over the top.

4. Bake
Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the center is nearly cooked through.

5. Add the Cheese Topping
Remove from oven, sprinkle with the shredded Italian cheese blend and a little extra Parmesan. Return to the oven for 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

6. Rest and Serve
Let the meatloaf rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing to allow juices to redistribute. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
