Fish Soup Recipe

Ingredients:

500 g fish (any white fish: cod, hake, tilapia)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 onion (chopped)

2 garlic cloves (minced)

1 tomato (chopped) or 1/2 cup tomato sauce

1 carrot (sliced)

1 potato (diced, optional)

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon cumin

Water (or fish stock)

Parsley or coriander (optional)

Lemon (for serving)

Instructions:

Heat olive oil in a pot.

Add onion and garlic, cook for 2–3 minutes.

Add tomato, carrot, potato, and spices. Mix well.

Add water to cover everything.

Let it cook for 20 minutes.

Add the fish and cook for 10 more minutes (do not overcook).

Taste and adjust salt.

Add parsley or coriander before serving.

🍋 Serve hot with bread and lemon.
