Preparation:
Cook pasta: Cook ziti according to package instructions, then drain.
Cook beef: Brown ground beef in a pan over medium heat, seasoning with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Drain excess fat.
Mix sauce: Stir in marinara sauce and garlic powder to the cooked beef. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Assemble: In a large baking dish, combine cooked ziti, beef sauce, ricotta cheese, and half of the mozzarella. Mix well.
Top and bake: Sprinkle remaining mozzarella and Parmesan on top. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Serve: Let cool slightly before serving.
