“Hearty One-Pot Pasta and Bean Soup”

Introduction:
A hot meal of this kind is just what’s needed on a cold day or when you want to have a satisfying dinner. All in one container, it mixes ground meat, variety of vegetables, pasta, and beans in a very tasty broth. With simplicity and taste combined therein, this will be one dish that will never leave your recipe book.

Ingredients:
1 pound (450 grams) ground beef or turkey

1 medium-sized onion diced

2 cloves garlic minced

2 carrots sliced

2 sticks celery chopped

1 green pepper chopped

1 can (15 oz/425g) crushed tomatoes

1 can (15 oz/425g) red kidney beans rinsed and drained

1 can (15 oz/425g) cannellini beans rinsed and drained.

4 cups (1 liter) beef or vegetable stock.

1 cup (240ml) tomato sauce.

¼ pound elbow macaroni uncooked ditalini pasta or;

1 teaspoon dried oregano,

Salt and pepper to taste,

Fresh parsley for garnish.
