Step 1: Make the brownie batter
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment.
2️⃣ In a large bowl, whisk melted butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
3️⃣ Sift in flour, cocoa, and salt. Mix until just combined (don’t overmix).
Step 2: Make the cheesecake layer
4️⃣ In another bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until creamy.
Step 3: Assemble & swirl
5️⃣ Pour about ¾ of the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
6️⃣ Spread cheesecake mixture evenly on top.
7️⃣ Dollop the remaining brownie batter over the cheesecake layer. Use a knife or skewer to swirl for a marbled effect.
Step 4: Bake
8️⃣ Bake 35–40 minutes, until set but still fudgy in the center.
